Frequently Asked Questions

What if I exceed my monthly hours?
Additional hours are billed at $275/hour, well below our standard rate. We will always notify you before exceeding your allocation so you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.
Can I change tiers?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time with 30 days notice. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There is no penalty for adjusting your tier as your business needs evolve.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. All retainers are month-to-month. We earn your business every month. 30-day written notice is required to cancel, giving us time to properly transition any open matters.
What is not included?
Litigation (court filings, appearances, depositions), real estate closings, patent prosecution, and criminal defense require separate engagement agreements. However, retainer clients receive preferred rates for these services when needed.
